Roof Lantern Specifications

We have broken down the specification into each of the stages of manufacture:

• The Finials¹ and crestings² are Aluminium (as standard white or brown.)
• Our capping system for weatherproofing incorporates a dual gasket system, and comes with a coated finish.
• The standard glass provided is a soft coated doubled glazed 4-16-4 toughened glass providing a U-value of 1.6. In addition to this we can provide a range of glass types from 'Solar Control' to glazed units containing special gases. Contact us for further details.
• The rafter section is 44mm and has a crafted Roman OG³ detail cut into every timber section.
• The crafted centre boss provide a centre piece to hip sections.
• All the roof lantern components clip or bolt together, providing an easy fit system.
• All Roof Lanterns UK Roof Lantern components are fully refinished using micro-porous paint system in white, although any one off colour, RAL/BS⁴, Farrow & Ball or stain can be used at an additional cost. Contact us for further details.
• We at Roof Lanterns UK only use the best hardwoods available and we offer Sapele or Oak as our preferred choice.
